What to Post on Social Media (A Method)

I saw this email in my inbox this morning:

Question: “Hey Kass!  Do you have any tips for planning social media and email content? Like, is there a system you recommend for coming up with good content?

 Answer: Yes.

If you’re always wondering what to post on social media, it’s time to take on a new perspective. From now on, you’re no longer a “Content Creator.” Or, a “Business Owner.” You’re the editor of a newspaper. And not just any newspaper - your community newspaper.

So, Editor… what articles should go in this month's publication? What would your community love to read?

  • Who will you feature, interview, or put a spotlight on?

  • What news will you share?

  • What resources would you recommend?

  • What comics (or memes) will you share?

  • What quizzes or games will be included?

When you look at content creation from this perspective, you escape the expert bubble you’re stuck in and finally make content your audience will love.

Do this at the beginning of each month and you'll never wake up wondering what to post again.

I hope this helps.
