Seraphim Salon: Opening a Micro Salon With Savanna Roth
This week I’m interviewing Savanna Roth.
Savanna just opened what she refers to as a “Micro-Salon” here in Tucson, Arizona. She also happens to be my Hairdresser of 3 years.
She didn’t take the same path most Hairdressers take. She went straight from beauty school to being an Independent Contractor at a salon. She didn’t let the imposter syndrome stop her from jumping right into being her own boss - she just went for it.
Now, a few years later, she’s the owner of her very own salon, Seraphim.
On the business & marketing side of things, we’re talking about what it’s like starting a business straight out of school. Why you should take big risks in business. How to hire your dream team and attract clients you actually look forward to working with. And way more.
And just for fun, we’re discussing what NOT to do when getting your hair done. How Savanna got fired from Whole Foods. And way more.
A little warning: The audio isn’t as clean as previous episodes. We recorded this episode while she did my hair, so the mic set up wasn’t ideal.
